First Ever Public Ground Tours of World's Largest Zeppelin Memorial Day Weekend in Long Beach

For the first-time ever, the public is invited to go behind the scenes at Airship Ventures and take a ground tour of the world’s largest passenger airship, the Zeppelin Eureka.

Guided by Airship Ventures’ Zeppelin experts, these tours will allow guests to get up-close and personal with Eureka, which at 246-feet stretches longer than a standard Boeing 747, as well as learn about Zeppelin history and experience what it’s like to be on a real-life operating airfield. All ground tour guests will receive a $40 certificate that can be used toward purchasing a flightseeing experience aboard Eureka.

These behind-the-scenes tours will be offered in addition to airship flights from Long Beach Airport this holiday weekend, May 26-28, and allow airship fans access to the Zeppelin experience at a family-friendly pricepoint.

Flights and Ground Tours will be operated Memorial Day Weekend May 26-28 from Long Beach Airport

Ground Tours are $39.99 per person and last one hour.

Flights start at $375 per person, plus taxes, and range in duration from 45 minutes to two hours. Depending on the selected experience, spectacular views include the California coastline, the Queen Mary and Long Beach Harbor, or Tinseltown Icons and LA Landmarks.

Flights and Ground Tours may be purchased online at www.airshipventures.com/tickets, or by calling 650/969-8100 x111.
