Final Agenda for NTSB’s General Aviation Search and Rescue Forum Announced
The National Transportation Safety Board today released the final agenda including speakers’ names, affiliations, and biographies for the forum on General Aviation Search and Rescue. The forum, scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, July 17 & 18, starts at 9 am and will be held in the NTSB Board Room and Conference Center in Washington, DC.
Representatives from government and industry will serve as panelists during the forum and will discuss key safety topics including the regulations, policies, and procedures that affect search and rescue at a federal level.
Panelists will share information about emerging technologies and how they can shape and improve general aviation search and rescue missions. During the forum, there will be dialog between search organizations, technology manufacturers, and industry groups on the issues currently impacting the general aviation and search and rescue communities.
