AAR Aircraft Services to Hold MLK Day Job Fair to Fill 70 Positions

On Martin Luther King (MLK) Day, AAR will pay tribute to Dr. King’s vision of economic empowerment and opportunity for all with the MLK Day of Service Job Fair.

AAR is looking to fill 70 positions for aircraft mechanics, technicians and avionics professionals. About 20 of the openings are specifically for lead technician, supervisory and inspector positions at competitive salaries.

The job fair will take place from Noon to 6 p.m., Monday, January 21, 2013, MLK Day at the Indianapolis Maintenance Center, 2825 W. Perimeter Drive, near the airport.

Aviation is critical to our nation’s economic growth. AAR’s aviation technicians perform aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), supporting commercial aviation and defense operations around the globe. Many of the open positions require specialized skills, and some demand FAA certification. Training opportunities are available for those with the desire and discipline to contribute to AAR’s customer-driven growth and reputation as a safety-first operation.

AAR is also hiring at its MRO facilities in Duluth, Miami, Oklahoma City and Hot Springs, Ark., all part of its 1MRO service and quality control network. Twenty percent of its workforce is comprised of military veterans.
