Seabirds Flock to SnF16

The Seabird Organization at Sun N Fun is pleased to announce the gathering of seaplane pilots, seaplanes, and enthusiasts at the 2016 Annual SUN ‘n FUN International Fly-In and Expo, held at Lakeland Linder Airport (KLAL), Lakeland, Fla., April 5-10.

The Seabird hospitality tent will be located at the same location as last year, off Taxiway E-1. SUN ‘n FUN is pleased to introduce the host of activities at the tent this year, Geoff Nye, new Seabird Chairman for SnF16.

The Seabird Hospitality tent will be the center of activities for seaplane pilots throughout the show. Due to logistical issues, there will not be a Seabird Splash-In this year for 2016 events.

SUN ‘n FUN will award trophies for the Best of Show Seaplanes for pilots desiring to have their seaplane judged. “Judge me signs” will be available at the Seabird tent to mount on candidate aircraft. Awards will be presented at a ceremony on Saturday evening.

Seabird pilots wishing to participate in the Seaplane Pass-In-Review, a flying event, should attend a briefing at the Seabird tent at 10 AM on Wednesday, April 6.

All seaplane pilots, co-pilots, and enthusiasts are invited to participate in Seabird Tent events and activities.
