Cessna Receives Order for Two Skyhawks from Liberty University at EAA AirVenture

Cessna Aircraft Company, a subsidiary of Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. company, announced it has received an order from Liberty University during the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture for two new Cessna Skyhawk 172. The aircraft, which will be delivered later this year, are part of a multi-year agreement between Cessna and Liberty that includes the aircraft, product support and training. Liberty University, based in Lynchburg, Virginia, currently operates a fleet of 20 Skyhawk aircraft to train the next generation of pilots.
