Saturday Flying Demo Start Time Changed

The start time of the 

Flying Demo

 of the North American P-51 “Mustang” scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2020 has been changed to 

10:15am

.

The change in start time 

(from 11:45am to 10:15am)

 is a result of an Excessive Heat Warning from the National Weather Service.  Predictions of temperatures at or near 112 degrees are expected by mid-day for the Chino area. 

To get ahead of this heat as much as possible and ensure the safety of our guests, volunteers, and staff, the schedule for the Flying Demo is as follows:

• Museum Doors Open at 9:00am

• Presentation begins at 10:15am

• Engine Start-Up and Taxi at 10:30am

• The Mustang flies over the Museum for 20 minutes

• Mustang returns to Museum by 11:00am

Flying Demo

 is a great way for families and friends to touch aviation history in a safe environment.  Guests are asked to wear face coverings and maintain physical distance in order to help stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
