First presented in 1993 at the Santa Monica Airport, the AMERICAN HEROES Air Show has grown to become the nation’s premier, helicopter–only, admission-free aviation experience designed to educate the public, media and community officials about rotary-wing aviation’s diverse capabilities in law enforcement, public safety, Search & Rescue as well as homeland security, national defense and careers in public service.

We achieve this mission with exciting helicopter static displays and rescue / tactical demonstrations plus we engage the community with a diverse group of recruiting teams from military, DOJ law enforcement & fire services plus schools with classes in criminal justice & homeland security.
