Piper, Bimini Bay Resort Target Breast Cancer
Vero Beach, Fla., Oct.1, 2012 – Piper Aircraft Inc. and Bimini Bay Resort & Marina are sponsoring a chance drawing for private air travel and a weekend stay (2 nights, 3 Days) for two at the luxury Caribbean hotel to benefit the fight against breast cancer.
Chance drawing tickets for the air travel and weekend in Bimini are available by contacting the Piper Pilot Shop at 772-299-2160.
The promotion is in support of October Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the exclusive beneficiary is the American Cancer Society program entitled Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, presented by Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian, Fla.
“Everyone knows that American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks help fight breast cancer. We’ve just taken it a step further and are sponsoring a flight for some lucky recipients so they can take a walk on the beach in the Bahamas and help fight breast cancer at the same time,” said Piper President and CEO Simon Caldecott.
As part of the promotion, Piper is designing and specially decorating a Seneca V aircraft with the familiar pink breast cancer awareness ribbons. Piper will exhibit the distinctive aircraft on the company headquarters display pad alongside Aviation Boulevard at Vero Beach Municipal Airport.
